The official site of the British Prime Minister’s office. This site is chalk full of information with many sub-categories. A great way to organize its content and accessibility through the main drop down navigation. I’ve went through several government website’s and for the most part they tend to be very disconnected and frustrating to use. Here, it was easy, simple and user friendly. Other than the background image, didn’t care too much for it, a great example for your next project that is content heavy.

A good example of a magazine layout. The home page is full of content which does a great job of showcasing the different categories and news. The site would probably take several visits for you to get comfortable with, with all the information available. I would personally like to see the different countries and languages it’s available at the top of the page instead at the bottom. Nonetheless, it’s another great example of what WordPress can do.

Mommies 247, a social networking organization for moms in Hoboken, N.J. A nice clean design and really like the slider on the home page, but could be slower when moving from slide to the next. The breadcrumbs makes it easy to know where you are on the site and the main navigation makes it easy to identify which category you are on. A great example of a membership site. Has many different plugins which they have customized for their branding.

TheFineWatchReview is the go to site for all things related to fine watchmaking. I enjoyed using this site not because I love watches but also the clarity and sharpness of the images. This site is image heavy and many flash files and yet the pages loaded very quickly. There are some great ideas you can definitely use for your next WordPress project. I really liked the forum and I have gone through many different WordPress forum and will be looking at using their idea for display their forum posting.

Professional Photography Expeditions in Asia. I like the different transition effects of the main images on the home page. Used jQuery on the top of the page with the leaves and creatively I really like they display their social bookmarking. Again, another idea that you can use.
